What is being recalled
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2027 Heartland Bighorn recreational trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 567, "Certification."

Referencing the incorrect weight could result in the trailer being overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

What owners should expect
Jayco will mail replacement labels to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 30, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901666.
