RecallRoute is an independent vehicle safety lookup that makes public NHTSA recall campaign records easier to scan by year, make, and model.

Purpose

RecallRoute organizes campaign records around the vehicle details drivers commonly know. Results retain the manufacturer summaries, safety consequences, and remedy information supplied through NHTSA data services.

Independent service

RecallRoute is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with NHTSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, any vehicle manufacturer, or any dealership.

Model search and VIN status

A model-level campaign can include only certain production dates or configurations. Use the official NHTSA VIN lookup or contact a manufacturer or dealer to confirm whether a specific vehicle is affected.
